iPhone 4? Just buy a regular mSIM, and a card for refill and set it up right there in the store. Any mSIM will work.

yes iphone 4 ! thank you ... dose msim gives you options for internet too ?

I've done this with a regular sim for an iPhone 3G but have been assured it works with the micro sim as well from a Rogers employee.

Get micro sim ($10) and top up at least $10.

Activate online, and choose your plan, there's two or three pay and go plans availble.

Open Safari on the iPhone when connected to 3G and it'll redirect you to a page to buy data.

20mb valid for one day - $2

125mb valid for a week - $7

Rogers is a good choice, but they're expensive. They generally have the best coverage, I say avoid Bell & Telus and probably Fido (a company thats basically Rogers) as well. The customer service for those companies is **** and the plans are.. meh.

Rogers will be a small bit more pricey but worth the nice coverage/customer service.

Not that I've seen, I doubt they'd send a sim card out to another country before hand. It's a very quick process though, I asked for a sim with some money on and was out the door in 5 minutes.:)

Like I said, Rogers is the best company to go with. Your best bet is to hit up a Rogers store the moment you're in Canada. They're usually very nice but kinda stupid sometimes, just make sure you don't take EVERYTHING they say 100% because most of the employee's don't know what they're talking about.

Or you could call in. Here's the number, though they'll still tell you to go to a Rogers store for the microsim/activation/etc.

For activation I done that on my own back at the house online. Suppose that might be a problem so if they offer instore take it.:)

You *can* do most of it online but it's honestly just more convenient for him to do it in store/over the phone when he gets to Canada etc.

so i guess Rogers it is then for me ...

i was hoping to get some thing like 50 minutes of calling / and 200 MB of data while i am there for 3-4 days .

and am trying to figureout the cost

Sim cost / with activation : ???
adding 30 to 50 minutes : ???
Data 125 MB : $7

Sim Cost/Activation: $10 for sim and sometimes $35 for Activation
Adding Minutes: Cheapest will probably be $20 (200 minutes)
Data 125MB: Doesn't work anymore. Cheapest will be 500MB for $25-35.

would the $1 a day plan work on iphone 4?

Are you serious? Rogers is CRAP where I live. Telus and Bell have the best coverage I find. Must depend on where you live...

I travel all over Canada and I've always experienced the best with Rogers. Telus used to be good but it's crap now. Bell was always junk tbh.

so far i think i will just buy a prepaid card with $10 credit on it thru ebay activate it online before going to canada and just add a $7 data plan on it ..what do you guys think... for couple of days i think thats the best choice.
