Hello everyone. I've got a question about the time machine backup. I'm new to a MAC and have a 250 gig hard drive as my time machine. However, I'm running out of space on it. So I would like to move over to a 350 gig USB drive that I've recently cleaned out and have available for use.

I know I can plug the new drive in and select it as my time machine. But I also want to keep all the current backups from the current time machine? Is that possible? Do I drag the folder from the current time machine had drive to the new drive and will time machine know to continue from that point?

I'm not sure what to do and I don't want to loose all those previous backups.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it.

John
