I want to install the above in my Mac Pro which is used 85% time on Windows and the rest as a Mac. Specs are below, will this run as at present I can't detect it?

Yes it will work great, I had the same machine with the same drive.

There are spare sata ports on this motherboard, making it quite easy to install this drive in the optical bay. This will mean you can still have four HDD in the regular bays :)
