Hey guys,

So my service is currently disconnected because I'm out of the country. I will be for a few more months as well. My phone is on 7.0.4 from an OTA update, and I have the full 7.0.4 ispw on my computer, but when I click restore and select the ispw, itunes extracts the software but then gets stuck on 'preparing iphone for restore'. Any ideas? Internet here is...not the best, if you catch my drift, but I'm lucky enough to have it.

Update
I can restore from back up with no issues, but when I restore as new, no dice. I get error 4005 after 20ish mins

try putting the phone in DFU mode and shift + click restore in itunes to restore to 7.0.4

Try if one of these will make it work:
Reinstalling itunes
Repairing 'Apple Mobile Device Support'.
Disable Antivirus
Sign out of iCloud on PC.
