I currently have my personal websites hosted on a Windows 2003 server in my office. I would like to move them over to my MacPro and ditch the Windows box. I can't seem to find any good posts or articles on the best way to configure/setup apache for personal hosting. I don't need PHP or anything else. Can anyone point me to some useful info? Everything I seem to find is like 3 years old. I just really want to make sure I set things up where I am not going to get hacked. Thanks in advance.

Well if you head into Sharing preferences and enable web sharing you can click on the "Your personal website" link to see a page showing you how host your website using Apache by adding your website to your Sites folder. now thats local web sharing im not sure about external. you will probably have to open some ports in your router.
