i want to buy it within the next 2-6 weeks,are there any special deals or promotions going on right now with them? it dosnt have to be from the apple store,any online shop is fine.

I don't know any promotions except the back-to school promotion that takes place in late summer. I suggest you wait until Santa Rosa platform and Leopard. If you can't wait that long for those features, how about this macbook:

As dartzorichalcos has pointed out, the only "deal" available is that of purchasing a refurbished MacBook. Unless MacMall is running a promotion.

nevermind, Apple has just announced that Leopard (OS 10.5) won't be out until October at the earliest now (previously thought due by the end of June).

I would wait till this after this weekend (NAB) and then make your purchase.
