Want to put 3 imovies together as one

I am about to make a "magic imovie" from my camera that records onto dvds. The video is across 3 dvds (30mins each), so if i connect it with firewire it will close the movie each time I load another disk in surely? Is there any way i can get around this and get it so it is one movie?

3 iMovies as One

If I understand you correctly, you could originally create 3 different iMovie "files." Then if you have the latest version of iMovie you could open each iMovie file, and then drage the clips from two of the files into the third file. At this point all of the clips should be in one iMovie file, thus giving you clips from all 3 discs in one iMovie.
