I want to do this on the cheap. I have the current MP3's of old video game music... I would like to remix them and make new music.

I currently have a SR MBP, and a M-Audio Oxygen8 v2.

Can I use garage band? Do I need to buy a Jam Pack(s)? If not, what software would you recommend?

I need something pretty cheap. I already forked out 120$ for the Oxygen 8.... what else do I need?

And is there any good starter tutorials out there? Thanks all!

Computer Music is a good magazine to read but only in europe with importing it costing $16 an issue. I give up 2 lunches to buy my issue. Anyways, google it online for other resources. You keyboard should of came with Live Lite correct. Update Live Lite to Live Lite 6 so it runs on a intel machine.
