Want to replicate this slider from the HTC site using a Joomla extension

They use a Flash slider on the site to show off their products - I want to replicate it using a Joomla extension, anyway to copy that sort of interactivity without using Flash?

I've had a look at gavick news show and toyed with it but can't me getting what I want out of it..

EDIT: am now open to the idea of using a Flash based bit of software that has a template to a similar effect but am not up for starting from scratch..
