I'm on an unlocked iPhone (so I can use pay as you go) and I was using the YouMail service. as part of their process, it forwards unanswered calls to their number so you can check your voicemail online, which looks something like visual voicemail. However, on my plan call forwarding costs money so I decided to stop using the service.

I got my phone to stop forwarding to Youmail and go to my AT&T voice mailbox, but for some reason the voicemail button on the Phone App still calls youmail and checks my old messages there rather than my AT&T voicemail box.

Do you know of the code that I can type into my Iphone to get it to change the destination of the voicemail button to my phone number so it'll call my AT&T voicemail?

I sent an email to Youmail support but I thought maybe this was just an iPhone question more than a Youmail question so I would try here too.

thanks,

Youmail support gave me the answer:

Dial the following then press call.

*5005*86*YOURVOICEMAILNUMBER#
