I have Mid 2012 13" Macbook Pro, 2.9 GHz i7 processor, 8GB ram, 750GB hard drive.

wanted to get an 11" Air (preferably as cheap as possible, as will want to replace once the Air gets its revamp next year) due to its size and weight making it easy to travel with.

what would be the best way of doing this?

thanks

Sell your Pro, buy the Air.

Get an Air from the refurb store, and sell the MBP before its value will go down, once these 13" laptops will be EOL'd too, in favor of an all-retina line-up.

I would sell now and get an Air. The value will drop like a fly if Apple decides to drop the 13" classic MacBook Pro in the next update.
