Is there another service provider with prepay that I can use with this phone? I'm out of contract very soon and Verizon has been terrible and expensive for me.

Want to switch Verizon 4s to prepay

Am I stuck with Verizon mvno's? I thought 4s's could be switched to any of the service providers because of the dual antenna dealy. Verizon's data service is terrible where I live. I gotta get away from these guys.

Verizon's 4S is locked and can only be unlocked for international gsm use.

I remember my Verizon BB 9930 was a world phone like the 4S and I was able to unlock it and toss in a TM sim and I was on their network, but it was edge. The 4S also has this capability.
What your bb9930 or any other cellphone can do is not relevant to this question.

You can use a gevey sim to get on TM. Also if your phone is jailbroken you can edit some plist files and disable the CDMA radio so it always defaults to the Gsm.
It's not easy to get it to work on TM, but its not impossible either.
1st part you were correct. You can use a gevey sim adaptor but that only works on certain baseband versions. Not all versions can be unlocked using a gevey currently.
2nd part its completely false, by Jailbraking a 4S you cannot unlock it period.
