I would like to try Video Editing, however i don't have a video camera at the moment.

can anyone link to a place i can get a say 10 minute video. i could try video editing with in imovie?

(no Ipad Demo please.)

their are 1000 ways of getting material. Hera are some for example:

go to youtube, find a video, copy the link to keepvid.com download the "high quality" mp4 video.

Install handbrake, rip a dvd you own, edit it.

search google for free stock footage video.

But you'll have to tell a story with your video. So you could also try to make photo's, add them to imovie, use the ken-burns effect and cut them and animate them so they tell a story.
 
You can also go to the Prelinger Archives, part of the Internet Archives (just Google it). Lots and lots of public domain movies for download. Some of the social hygiene ones from the 40s and 50s are hilarious by today's standards.
