Want to use 2010 iMac as dual monitor for 2011 iMac

Easy as pie, right? Just utilizing Target Display Mode, right? However, there's a problem. The 2010 imac only has mini display ports, while the 2011 only has thunderbolt ports. Is there any way for the two to talk? Could I use a mini display port cord AKA would the 2011 recognize a mini display port?

Yes, thunderbolt has mini display port in it.
