Want to watch/record tv on my macbook...whats the best product

so i would like to record TV on my aluminum macbook because sometimes i have class during my shows.

i tried looking for a TV tuner for mac on google (i think thats what i need) but everywhere i went it seemed as though the posts were from 2 years ago

so what should i get or what do you recommend and anything i should know?

I believe you can do this with an Elgato EyeTV 250. It connects via USB, has a built-in tuner (in addition to RCA inputs for set top boxes) and comes with recording software.

I've never used one before, but a lot of people here seem to like them.
