I want something that will display all that wonderful high-tech nonsense you see in TV shows and movies on my Mac screen. Yes, I am aware the screens you see in Ironman or NCIS:LA or pretty much any other thriller are all useless junk; indeed, they're probably screen grabs from scrolling COBOL code or something. But I'd love to get a display full of them running on my Mac.

And it's not just for the visual effect. I am kinda curious about how they design that stuff and make it sorta interactive. Wouldn't be nice in the office to have an NSA login screen pop up, type in USER:ESNOWDON, PWD:123456 and be able to crow "I'm in!" as the NSA splash screen dissolves in a file hierarchy or something?

Not to mention those waterfall displays of binary stuff or whatever.

And often in some neutral only-in-fantasy UI for an unknown OS.

I used GeekTool at one time to get Console logs scrolling around in a window, but that was actually useful. I need (cough, want) something more Matrix.

And please don't judge me.

Perhaps a little more retro than what you're looking for, but the screensaver here is fun.
