WANTED: How To Convert MP4 & MPG To MP3 or AAC Files?

I need to convert MP4 and MPG files to MP3 (or maybe AAC?) so I can play them on my iPod Shuffle. Does anyone know how I can do that? Initially I used EasyWMV to convert the SWF files to MP4 and MPG but now I can't find anything that will convert them to MP3.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

So... videos without the video? As you wish.

Just use QuickTime to extract the audio stream and export it as an AIFF. Then use iTunes to convert it into an AAC file.

The software has separate apps for both MP3 and AAC, so you can decide which one to use. I prefer AAC.

Here is another good tool named Pavtube Video Converter for Mac u can try. It is free to convert SWF, MP4 or MPG to mp3 or aac directly. And mp3 is a better choice for your ipod. It is very easy to use for newbies.
