Hi there,
I asked a web-designer I know if I could get a stationary template for writing HTML emails in Mail (I want this for emails I'd send to business clients: I'd have my business logo at the top of the page, and, let's say, an associated jpeg at the bottom), and he had this to say:
"Templates work by selecting them when you make a new email, and then filling in the message. I know how to do this for windows, as you simply make an HTML file and it uses that as the email, and then you save the HTML as a template. However, my lack of knowledge with Apple comes in to play here, because I don't know how it works in Mac's mail app"
I figured this forum is the best place to ask the best way to do this for Apple's Mail app (I've used Macs for twenty-some years, and am not about to stop, but I don't know how to do this sort of thing).
I only want to do this if it can be made easy. In other words - - in Mail, if I want to send an email to a business client, I want to be able to choose this particular stationary template, and write my note. I don't want to have to configure this or that. Just choose the stationary, write my note, and send.
Is this do-able?
Any downside to this sort of thing? (all of my business clients have high-speed internet connections, by the way).
Thanks,
malch
