Wanted - Personal information Manager

I would like to find/or suggest an application like the following:

it should be similar with iTunes.
- in the name of artist I would edit my text/note
- in the place of stars I assign stars
- in the place of other categories I can add own labels
In this way I can sort the notes by priority, by category etc

Wouldn't that be nice ? and its not impossible
