Hi all,

For a number of years I have been using Torro folio wallet cases for general day to day, and Spigen Thin Fit shells with an integrated metal plate to hold my phone by a magnet on my car dash.

What I am now looking for is a case that offers a combination of the two.

A premium quality leather wallet (no straps or flaps to hold closed) with a detachable shell case that is held within the wallet by magnets.

Does anyone know of such a case/manufacturer?

Required for a Pro Max. Happy to monitor any recommended manufacturers in a hope that a case to suit will be released.

TIA

I've never come across a "premium" brand leather folio that has a metal plate.

Zover has made a detachable with removable metal plate, but it's not what I'd consider a premium brand in the vein of Vaja, Piel Frama, Lucrin, Noreve, etc. (~$100 and up)

Closure straps are 50/50, but I see more being added, regardless of price tier, than taken away, especially since they do a better job if the card slots in the flap are actually utilized. A common complaint is that the magnet closures aren't strong enough to keep the flap secure with cards inserted, so that has been the response. Vaja's new 11 Pro wallet case has a strap that the XS versions lacked.

Detachable folios are already less common, and I'd wager metal plates that prevent wireless charging are a less desirable trait to most users, since one benefit that a detachable provides is to accommodate wireless charging, which is made difficult with the additional thickness of a folio.

I am kind of looking for the same thing.. I have a Totallee case for the primary case and I want a separate wallet case so I can carry my cards in it. But most of the one I am finding don’t separate.
