I had Microsoft's Streets and Trips 2001 on my old PC. Are there any similar trip mapping programs for the Mac?

Nothing for the Mac unless you run VMWare or Parallels and run a copy of S&T on it. Route 66 is a Mac solution but it hasn't been updates in many years.

Check out ABNavigator at http://www.jonn8.com/

Tzus, thanks for the lead to AB Navigator! I checked out their web site which indicated that getting an actual map illustrating driving directions required going online to Mapquest or other map provider. I suffer with a sloooow dial up seldom getting more than 28 kbs so I would prefer a program that generates maps offline like S & T or the Delorme product. The fact that AB Navigator is freeware is enticing, though!

DeLorme dropped support of Macs several years ago, citing the cost of a port to the Mac. I found this out after I bought my first Mac Mini. Really a shame, since DeLorme made such great maps!
