Would like to purchase a MacBook - either silver or space gray with above specs. I would like to get an apple refurbished, but no such luck. Preferred to purchase "in new condition" would anybody have an suggestions? Please and thanks!

Don't know what country you are in, but these two are available in UK from CEX where I buy most of my stuff. Two year warranty.

I bought a maxed out gold one from them last year and very pleased with it. Would have preferred space grey but there were none then. Grade B is usually very good. The machine is usually near mint but missing the box.

Hi there. Sent you a private message.

Try Best Buy outlet - when they have them, it's a great deal.
Otherwise you can try your hand on eBay.

I just picked up one on eBay and waiting anxiously for the 2017 i5 w/ 512GB SSD to replace my old first gen 2015 CTO/BTO Macbook retina....

$700 for a 2017 - hoping it will be good...

Sometimes on eBay you get people who know nothing about what their tech is worth. A friend picked up a fully working 2015 MB base model for $75!

I am still looking for a pristine MacBook with AppleCare, if anyone has one and is interested in selling. Thanks!

FilmIndustry Guy - just sent you a private message. Thanks so much! I asked the year, but I see that it is a 2017, I do have some other questions as well.

Slight thread revival but I an also looking to purchase an i7 (16gb & 500gb HD) in the UK if anyone knows of any companies selling one, other than those on ebay.

Looking at the links Mike Borham posted up thread, I had a look at that store and saw a Gold fully loaded 2017 with the specifications you require at this link.

Thank you @MiamiBeach Annoyingly I was only looking for a Space Grey one.

If you get a chance, have a look at a Gold MacBook in person, you may like it. It isn’t shiny like the latest iPhone colors, rather more of a subtle classy champagne color. I think it looks great in all kinds of light.

I was actually looking for a fully loaded 2017 in Silver or Gold, however only found one in Space Grey. The Silver was my first choice with the Gold being a very close second. Unfortunately most fully loaded 2017 MacBooks seem to be in Space Grey, the color I have.

Maybe we could swap?! I think a lot of them came in Space Grey as they were specced for high end company exec laptops. Just a guess though.

Damn there was a 1.4Mhz 16gb Ram and 512gb 2017 Macbook for sale on eBay. It literally sold within minutes!! If anyone is looking to sell one, I am actively looking for one please. Thanks

I thought £300 would have been high for a laptop which is about to become obsolete on Apple's books? Maybe the 16gb / 512gb combo is very desirable.

Yes, the top of the range 2017 MacBook has always carried a premium. I thought I read that it was the 2015 that was to become obsolete as per another post in this forum.

I am a light to medium user of my 2017 MacBook and it still does all I need and I plan to keep this MacBook for at least another 3 years. YMMV, of course, depending on your requirements.
