Hi,

I have a SR MBP. I need to connect several devices to my laptop - commonly a USB 3G Modem, iPod/iPhone (on and off) and 2 portable (bus powered) hard disks. I have tried 2 different USB 2 Hubs, neither of which work with more than 1 'high drain' device connected.

I have tried: http://www.trust.com/products/product_detail.aspx?item=14251 (with and without a 5V PSU connected)
and
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kensington-...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1214124290&sr=8-1 (without a PSU only).

Can anyone recommend a hub which will work (the smaller the better)? I accept it will probably need a power supply connected. 4 port is fine.

Thanks so much,

Neil

No hub will be able to power all that stuff without a power supply connected. A powered hub *should* work as long as the power supply can provide enough current (2A for a 4 port hub).

Look for a hub from reputable manufacturer that comes with a power supply.
