I like that look. I'm planning to buy the basic sport model and then buy a couple other bands later to switch out for different functions (running, dinner, meetings, etc.).
from what I know, if you want the silver aluminum with the black band, you have to buy the band separately. off the box, the aluminum doesn't come in black band... the space gray does tho.
btw: I like that configuration.
Nice choice. Beside, when you're bored with black you still have many options to try.

I am thinking of purchasing it in addition to my white band
If less expensive 3rd party bands pop up, esp., more masculine colors like navy or dark green or a leather band w/ faux alligator print I'll consider otherwise I'm perfectly happy with the black/black sport watch. It's very understated which is exactly what I want. I'm not looking to spend a lot of $ on bands for a watch I'll only have for a couple years.

am I the only one who thinks all the sport bands look terrible against the metal body of the watch?
