Hello all,

I've got a MBP that has been acting strange. I just want to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall everything (Lion) from scratch. Can someone tell me how I would do this, or point me in the right direction? I dont want to restore from a TM backup, rather I'd like to have a clean install of everything and then just drag over what I need. Thanks!

thanks for that. I appreciate it!

I am aware of the recovery partition, I'm jsut assuming that if I wipe the drive it will wipe out the partition to. Then, there' the online recovery, but will that recognize my mac (if the drive has been wiped) to recover Lion?

Yes, if your Mac came with Lion installed, it will recognize it even if you have a new drive installed.
