wap.cingular charge on plan (charged as text)

my texts are going thru the roof so i look under data on the site and i see the below..

every 15 minutes wap.cingular gets a charge...

only thought could be that me selecting push data every 15 minutes is charging me as a text?

why do we pay 30$ for an unlimited data pack if they are going to charge us to check data?

No if it were being charged as a text it would say "Text/IM Messaging" like it does next to the names. It is being charged as data, like it should be.

It says the charge right there.... "Internet/Medianet"

All text messages say "Text/IM Mesaging"

then how come when i click data under att.com it says 492 messages used of 0

then i count up all the messages in total and there is 492 including the 400 wap.cingular?

492 total messages including wap
says ive used 492

so sounds to me its counting them as texts

Can you post a pic of the graph you see when you first log into OLAM?

If it really shows up under texts and not data, then you have a problem and need to call ATT before you get your next bill.

It should say something like USED:184mb of UNLIMITED.

492 of 0 (i have the 1500 mssg plan... but obv not)

and then sort by "text and IM" =197 used

Definitely not right. I think you need to call 611 and see what is up.

What is really strange is that it is also showing up under the unlimited data plan, which it should. Let us know what happens.

just call them and have them realize they are wrong

they tried to charge me for 2 months of data and comp'ed it all back

dont sweat it just call and explain your situation politely. emphasis on politely
