Warcraft 3 reforged

Hello!

I played a ton of Diablo 3 on my Mac, and wanted to install Warcraft 3 with the keys that I have.
I get redirected to the reforged page, and I want to buy it (despite the bad reviews), but I’m having a hard time , verifying if this runs on a m1 air 8gb.

somebody has the experience?

If you have Warcraft 3 keys, you should be able to download the client and play it, albeit without being able to use the Reforged models. According to the system requirements, it requires an Intel GPU, so it probably only runs via Rosetta.

If you are interested in WC3R because you watched the awesome trailer for it, just know that Blizzard is still advertising the old preview of the game from 2018, and not what they actually delivered in 2020.

I Preordered as soon as it was announced, but was really disappointed with the result. I especially hate that Blizzard removed a lot of the features from the existing pre-reforge game.

Luckily, I have copies of WC3 from older Mac back ups, so not all is lost. Many other people were not so lucky and was surprised when their WC3 updated to the reforge version, just without the new models.
 
Do not buy this remaster.

It's Blizzard's worst product to date and one of the worst rated games on Metacritic of all time. It's so bad, it actually ruined a large part of the original Warcraft 3.
 
No one should be giving blizzard thieves any money. and quit pre-ordering stuff.
