I usually used iPhones with cases so maybe I never noticed but after using the 11 pro for a while, the back case gets warm in the below the camera area. Normal?

Warm = normal
Frying pan hot = not normal
I just noticed it after a little while. But I wasn’t playing an intensive game or anything on it. It was just warm. If I had a case on it, I probably wouldn’t have noticed it.

My Xs Max does the same. Right under the camera. Generously hot

I wouldn’t worry about it. If it gets to the point where it’s too hot to hold, then you have a problem.

I just got the iPhone 11 Pro. Using certain apps, the back does get warm. Sometimes closer to very warm but not extremely hot where I can't hold it. When I stop using the phone for a few minutes, it does cool back down. And this is normal behavior? I'd assume so since there's a lot of tech inside such a small space.
