Lads and ladettes, a bit of a heads up here;

I had a bit of something stuck between the casing and antenna. As it was right in the gap I tried to use the tip of my nail to softly edge it out. But to my shock I seemed somehow to scrape off a bit of the coating from the antenna and now have a small black mark there :(

Are you sure it isn't something deposited on the antenna? I believe you but I thought the antenna is solid metal. I could understand scraping off a coating or just the brushed finish and seeing a different looking area but something black?

There isn't like a crevasse or ridge between the antenna and casing if your looking at the side of phone. So how could something get scrapped off of it? :confused:

You mean the antenna is black in color and painted silver, and when when you use your nail to scrape it, you rub off the silver and it is showing black?

Sorry folks, after getting home I put some cleaner to it.

It seems it wasn't the antenna peeling but the black coating from the case around it.

Not goooooooood! Be careful gusy and gals.
