I got the above error message when trying to run a freshly-downloaded copy of Temperature Monitor 4.95 today on my MBP (and only my MBP). I've never seen that error before, and doing a Google search with it in quotes comes up with zero results, so apparently nobody else has, either.

Has anyone else seen this? Any idea what's up with it?

For reference, it's not the app itself--I made absolutely sure: The SHA1 checksum on the .dmg checks out versus the one Bresink gives, Disk Utility says it verifies fine, I tried redownloading it for good measure, and when I Airdropped the app directly from the problem computer to my iMac (both on the same OS), it ran fine there. Similarly, a copy of 4.94 downloaded on the iMac that ran fine there generated the same error when copied to my MBP.

This is on a MBP early-2011 running 10.7.3 with all current updates installed. And I tried rebooting, which made no difference.

Going to file a report with Bresink, but I figured I'd ask here first.
