Hi all,

I've had a 13" 2011 MacBook Pro since about the week they launched.

This week, I've noticed that the left corner of the lid, near the hinge, has a "gap" that is asymmetrical to the other corner. When the lid is closed, the gap is visible, maybe a quarter of an inch or so.

It doesn't necessarily bother me, but I wonder if the warping might cause undue stress or pressure elsewhere, or compromise the mechanics of the lid over time.

My thought is that the aluminum is warping? It's certainly never been dropped or bumped. The machine is under AppleCare.

Any advice on what I should do? Thanks in advance.

If you think it has a problem, remember you have a 14 day return policy. After 14 days your pretty much stuck with it
