I purchased the 15" Macbook Pro from Amazon on Saturday, it came today, I was wondering when the limited warranty started. Is it when I purchased it, or when it arrived and was set up.

Also, if it's from the purchase date, how can I be sure that the seller didn't purchase this computer from Apple (activating the warranty) and just had the computer sitting around waiting to be sold?

Thank you :)

It may not be exact, but it will tell you if your concern is real or not... check the serial number on this site:

It will tell you when the warranty expires:

I used that and it's good, the Telephone warranty expires in March and the actual full warranty expires in December 28th, so I'll order Apple care in late November to be safe

Thank you guys :)
