iPod touch Warrenty

Im having a problem with my iPod touch and ive remember a few posts about a 1 year warrenty. But I cant seen to find out were it states that. And also I got my touch at future Shop and it has like a 30 day warrenty and I was wondering if the apple warrenty over rides ther future shop one.
