Was anyone able to return their iPhone 4 to AT&T without paying the restocking fee ?

I was wondering if anyone who return their iPhone 4 to AT&T was able to do so without paying the 10% restocking fee ?

I returned my 16gb yesterday to the ATT store in my local mall and they gave me my full refund....No restocking fee.
