Was DVD drive standard on 2010 MBP?

Was the DVD drive standard equipment on all models of the "Mid-2010" Macbook Pro or was it an option to get one without it? From searching it seems to have been standard but it wasn't 100% clear and I need to be sure.

It was standard and there was no option to not have one.

DVD drives were standard through 2012 with the non-retina MBP.
