I installed media center 2005 later on when I switched on the mac mini I could not get to the different icons to boot from. I eventualy had to do a clean install of OSX

Was it me installing MCE on the windows partition or what ? I am tempted to install boot camp again but don't want a repeat of the above. Can't work out what I did wrong unless MCE does'nt like boot camp ? Vista is ok to install I guess ?

Considering Apple is very specific about Boot Camp being only for Win XP SP2, I'd say MCE screwed it up.

I found where it says that you can't use MC...
Apple said:
What you’ll need
Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.6 or later (check Software Update)
The latest Firmware updates (check Support Page)
10GB free hard disk space
An Intel-based Mac
A blank recordable CD
A printer for the instructions (You’ll want to print them before installing Windows, really.)
A bona fide installation disc for Microsoft Windows XP, Service Pack 2, Home or Professional (No multi-disc, upgrade or Media Center versions.)

Ok well you learn and learn. Vista is 100% ok btw and fast and this is not the 64bit version either
