I ran the serial number W88031A0XAG and EveryMac says it could be either one. The part number Z0EC001J6 doesn't bring up anything. I figured I'd ask here because somebody probably has more insight.
 
The optional display is a glossy one, the matte display was the standard.

The label lists the shipping (CTO) configuration.
MBPRO 15/2.6GHZ/2x2G/250/SD
MacBook Pro, 15-inch screen, 2.6 GHz processor, 2x2 GB (4GB) RAM, 250GB hard drive, and SuperDrive optical drive.
No display option listed there, so it shipped with a matte display.
If it has a glossy display now, it's likely the original display panel may have been replaced with glossy, but it did not ship with that.
