I'm not entirely sure if this has been posted (so forgive me and let the thread die if so) but I was poking around in the camera app in iOS5 and accidentally pulled down the notification center.

Thing is... phone was in landscape view.

Cool, I knew you could do this on iPad, but i've never tried it on iPhone.
 
yeah I noticed the same thing too.

It's been around since b1. It seems that whenever an application can go landscape, the notification pull down will also work (Messages, Facebook) almost any app that can do landscape will be able to do this. Just make sure that the orientation lock is turned off.

In a way this bums me out - I've heard way too much about people accidentially pulling it down.

Nah, it's Hard to do. I've been running iOS5 beta 1 and 2 and I just now did it. Pretty good if you only do it once every 3 weeks :)
 
My Cousin and I are working on making a game for iOS and have found notification menu interfere with one of the game menus. So now we need to move the game down some.

Yup, I have many times in Cut the Rope. We doodle as well.
