So I had a 5S, sold it in preparation for the 6, ran into money issues, priorities changed, decided to jump back to my backup 4S and use it for now. It was on iOS7 with a jailbreak. I read nothing but negative things about upgrading the 4S to iOS8, people were saying it was buggy, slow, and made the phone overall suck. I said screw it, restored my phone, installed 8.1, and the 4S runs without a single hiccup. In my opinion it seems to run smoother than when I was on iOS7. How come so many reviewers, top tech sites, etc were warning against people with a 4S to upgrade to iOS8? Maybe it's because I always restore and set up as new? My 4S is running just as strong as it did since the day I got it almost 3 years ago. I'm gonna keep my 4S now for another year and get the 6S next fall. I just changed my battery too, and it holds a charge like it did on day 1.
Anyone else with a 4S on iOS8, how is it running?
