I don't usually make threads like this, but I have to know (I don't have Tivo), did anyone else out there see an iPhone in that CIA agent's hand on the TV show 24 at about 9:30pm PST?

Maybe I'm seeing things, but I swear I saw that single button on the bottom, as well as the all black body with the huge touch screen.

I realize that it's very, very unlikely that Apple would put their product out there before launch like this, but who knows.

So, did I see an iPhone, or do I need a new glasses prescription?

i thought the same but if you look at it again-its a Dell PDA-i saw the Dell logo and text on it

EDIT-i was thinking of a different scene with a different device-i actually didnt even notice this one

but i too agree that it is outrageously unlikley that it is

Considering that these episodes were filmed in the summer there is no way that Apple would chance it. Plus I don't even think Apple would be ready to even display a prototype then.

maybe apple let them use one of the fakes. People are seeing iPhones all the time now ... I remember when Casino Royale had a white SE phone and everyone was convinced.

That's a really good point.

Does anyone have Tivo? I may buy this episode on iTunes just to see.

Is this the scene in question?

I bet the next series of Spooks in the UK will feature the iPhone heavily given it's past use of all things macular.
