Sorry if this has already been asked, I didnt see a thread. Did Apple mention anything regarding 4K iTunes on Macs, instead of requiring an Apple TV 4K?

I haven't followed this at all but out of interest, why do you think it'll never happen with current hardware? Some of the current Macs are more than powerful enough to run 4K video. Is there something else I'm missing? Thanks.
