So back in September I decided it was time to save up for a 13 inch Macbook Pro, I was and still am a regular on this site and I knew that new Macbook Pros were on their way in Q1 2011, so I decided to hold out. I was a bit disappointed when they were released due to the intel HD3000 and lack of improved battery life... So I went on to Bestbuy and found the 2.66 core 2 duo which was previously £1249. I found it for £999 on Bestbuy so I bought it (it was probably reduced because the new models were released). I am loving the 320m integrated chip, at the minute, the most graphic intensive game I run is Half Life 2 and the battery life in this little machine is absolutely awesome. I love this laptop, the build quality is top class and I am hoping the core 2 duo will last me... Do you think 999 was a good deal then? Considering it was 1249 before?

Just to add, I wonder why apple changed their intel logo :S, I liked their sleek, simple intel logos better, not a big deal though lol :)

I'd say that was a good deal, 250 is not a small amount of money, even in USD. Also, they are now using Intel's official logo for the processors, which personally, I think looks kinda funky too.
