Was this song ever used in an Apple Ad/ Product Intro?

This has been really bugging me, and Google does not help. Sail by AWOLNATION, especially the beginning, really sounds like an apple ad or product intro. Does anyone else think the same or even know where it's from?

The track's been used on lots of other TV programmes though. From memory it was on Top Gear relatively recently.

It was the latest series (I think) but not sure what episode. It was over a segment which showed a car in black and white.
