So long story short Apple had confirmed my 7 Plus Matte Black 128GB I show up at 10 am and they inform me that they did not receive enough devices. I politely ask to voice my concerns and dissappoinmnet to the Manager. He arrives and after a brief conversation says would a $100 gift cards help ? I accepted of course.

Now I am on my way they have received a fresh shipment in and mine is there.
 
When you wake up at 2:50am, cannot order until 3:09am, have an ETA of 10/4-10/10 but watch everyone else with the same ETAs have their phone ship, your status goes to Preparing for Shipment and then back to Processing, the charge on your bank account goes from posted to pending to completely gone, you see the exact model you want at a nearby store but cannot reserve it due to AT&T thinking you're already a part of their next program, and Apple / AT&T / UPS / banking company cannot explain or help in any manner, then yes, these past 7 days have been absolutely awful.
