Was watching an anime and

This is not all that unlike "L" using a PowerMac as his personal machine, and a PowerBook G4/MacBook Pro to communicate with the police forces in "Death Note".

I agree, I don't see a point to it... horrible graphics, mostly bad storylines... I guess if you're bored of life it'll appeal to you.
one of my college roommates spent all day holed up in the corner behind his computer watching anime porn all day (yes it was all porn)

I'm 27 now, and compared to when I was in High School and earlier, I'm not into it as much as I am now. But back then selections were limited and some good stuff, not the huge array of cruddy stuff now.

I walk into Best Buy now-a-days and nothing interests me, and I don't take chances, they all look cheap and about half naked girls and stupid fan service. Or regurgitated stories and ideas not as good as their predicesors.

There's some good stuff still out there, I won't go into to it, but I'm not watching everything I lay my eyes on, which is probably 98%. I can imagine if you watch the wrong thing that anime can leave a really bad taste.

I'm only into a few shows (basically just Bleach and Death Note). I'm not "into" Anime, I'm a fan of the stories. Good anime is like any good series, just usually doing things that would be difficult, expensive, or impossible to do with live action series.
