I'm about 6-7 hours in now and the one main display issue I have (besides tunnel-vision FOV, which I expected) is the overall image quality of the display appears washed out.

By comparison to a normal panel, it would be like the gamma/white point being set too high: muted color and the contrast range seems off, especially considering these are micro-OLED panels.

I don't see any options to address this, perhaps something in an accessibility setting might help work-around.

Or...it's just me. Anyone else come away with this?

(Context: I have a PSVR and find it MUCH "punchier").

I wonder if something is wrong with your particular system. The images on mine are bright and clear, and colorful.

If you have an Apple Store nearby, I would recommend you go in and check out theirs to see if there’s a problem with yours. You’ll be able to compare the images and see if there’s a difference or not.

Good luck!
