This thread is, most likely, only applicable to folks who live in Washington state, as I do. On February 1st, my wife and I will drive down to Portland, Oregon for the day (or maybe stay there over night, not sure yet), and I want to take advantage of purchasing an item (a late 2018 Mac Mini, most likely at a Best Buy store) and not having to pay the usual 10% Washington sales tax (my wife might want to purchase an item or two also). My question is, if I use a credit card to make the purchase (or purchases), will the WA sales tax still not be applied? I know I could pay cash and definitely avoid the tax, but I prefer to use my credit card.
