I faintly remember reading about one here but I'm not sure.
It just seems much better than when you're in an area with poor signal and Siri times out when you speak a text you want entered.
I'm praying there is one at least lol.

Can't you just disable Siri periodically? It should automatically use Voice Control instead of siri if you do.

I was hoping there was a tweak for this or even a toggle, because going through all the steps will get tedious everyday.

Gotcha!
SIRI was an app before Apple implemented it in their iPhones... I remember having SIRI (app) on my 3G.

Located me a Starbucks in my time of need a few years ago, just north of Los Angeles on my way to Cambria.

Don't tell me there was no SIRI for the 3G!

Yes, but that was different though. :)
Not the same native support siri that we have now, just an app from the appstore.
Siri was originally introduced as an iOS application available in the App Store by Siri, Inc., which was acquired by Apple on April 28, 2010. Siri, Inc. had announced that their software would be available for BlackBerry and for phones running Android, but all development efforts for non-Apple platforms were cancelled after the acquisition by Apple.
Siri has been an integral part of iOS since iOS 5 and was introduced as a feature of the iPhone 4S in October 14, 2011. Siri was added to the iPad (third generation) with the release of iOS 6, and has been included on all iOS devices since Autumn 2012
