so
i decided to wait and get a macbook pro in january
besides snow leopard wat new updates can i expect in the macbook pro early 2009?
will snow leopard ship with iLife 09?
and wats the possibility of iWork 09 in january?
~thanks

Nothing. They just released a new MBP. They're not going to do it again, 3 months later! Only Apple knows their release schedule for any hardware or software. They haven't said Snow Leopard will launch in early 2009, either.

obviously ilife 09 and snow leopard.

definitely a redesigned 17" macbook pro.

my predictions:

iphone with higher resolution screen.
updated mac pros
quite possible, a netbook.

oh, and no bluray in 2009 either.

snow leopard will not release til june 09 (some stated)

17" macbook pro but the screen hinge will remain as WEAK which it falls down easily.

Maybe ilife 09

Iphone firmware 2.2 (no copy and paste or MMS)

done

January will bring a redesigned 17" MBP. We might also see the "mysterious" new product, if it even exists.

Q3 and Q4 will bring MBP speedbump and Nehalem processors. Snow Leopard will be released somtime in the summerperiod, along with iLife 09.

These are my predictions, allthough I have no more knowledge than anyone else on these boards. I'm pretty sure though, that there will be no 15" MBP bump in early 2009.

I know what you/all of us CANT expect. almost 100% sure nehalem mb/mbp will NOT be release in 2009. Maybe mid- to late-2009, but knowing apple's tendency to adopt new platforms later than most notebook developers, nehalem macbooks/mbps will not come in 2009.

That's because the Nehalem/Clarksville processors aren't due to be released from Intel until late 2009.
