Going to go against the grain and say the next version of Apple Watch will be an incremental, internal update.
Predictions:
Faster CPU/GPU/SoC (possibly 2x as fast)
16GB Storage
1GB RAM
1-2 Hour increase in Battery life
I don't think there will be any new sensors or hardware design. The 'Loop You In' event was an indicator that Watch is important, but major changes won't be happening this year (I viewed that event as 'we're not redesigning the Watch yet, but we're releasing a whole bunch of bands to make your Watch look new/different for the next year').
I think this year's WWDC will focus on iOS, MacOS and new MacBook Pros.
